The design water collector ensures a stylish appearance. Elegant and slender, it fits into the downpipe and controls the water level in the rain barrel. The excess rainwater is channelled directly into the sewage system, making overflowing collection tanks a thing of the past.

The new design water collector is discreetly integrated into the downpipe and thus contributes to the attractive appearance of any building. The combination of metal and high-quality, black recycled plastic emphasises the simple elegance.
BEST FUNCTIONALITY
Perfect in form, the design water collector not only shines visually, but also with its numerous functions. An integrated spiral screw ensures a particularly high yield and scores with its low cross-section reduction of the downpipe. This gives the new design water collector a clear advantage over double-walled collectors. And the principle is simple: A connecting hose between the water collector and the rain barrel enables the water level in the barrel to be regulated. This means that the rain barrel only fills up to the desired water level and drains excess water directly into the sewage system.
FROST-PROOF THROUGH THE WINTER
All materials are frost-proof, so the design water collector can remain installed in the downpipe even during the winter months. It is set to winter mode using a slider. As the rainwater or melt water can drain into the sewer system unhindered even in winter and any remaining water is discharged via a separate drainage opening, frost damage is minimised.
The innovative sealing system is impressive in its application and is unique on the market. Only the rain barrel should be emptied in winter.
Installation made easy
Thanks to the precisely fitting transition from the design water collector to the downpipe, there is no need to use sleeves on the downpipe. This saves effort, time and money.
A variable hose length allows the rain barrel to be positioned anywhere, so that it does not have to be positioned in the immediate vicinity of the built-in water collector. A 330 mm long connection piece is included.
To be able to easily maintain and clean the design water collector and maintain full flexibility in the downpipe, we also recommend installing the GRÖMO sliding sleeve. This makes it a breeze to install and disassemble drainage components later on.
